Indonesian Fellowship

NLIF is a mission that seeks to reach Indonesian-speaking people in our diverse community with the gospel and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Their ability to speak English and their level of acclimation to American culture vary. Even so, they are all attracted by the opportunity to gather with those who share their language and cultural background. NLIF also seeks to bring unity between its members and the broader congregation of NLCC as they grow in their relationship with each other. Unity is hard work under the best of circumstances, and seeking it across cultures presents particular challenges, but it is Jesus’ own goal for us: “I ask…that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:20-21)

NLIF continues to be a bridge for Indonesians in our broader community into full participation in NLCC as believers in Jesus Christ.

Worship

Indonesian Fellowship meets at 11:00 am in the Chapel (Activity Center) for Sunday morning worship.

Activities

Badminton

Group meets every Sunday from 2 to 6 pm in the Gym in the Activity Center. This group is associated with NLIF (New Life Indonesian Fellowship).

Ping Pong

Group meets every Sunday in D106 in the Activity Center in the Gym from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. This group is associated with NLIF (New Life Indonesian Fellowship).
