Summer Day Camp
Being a kid should be fun. Summers are for having fun. It's a time to spend with friends, making memories and sharing experiences that last a lifetime. At New Life Community Church Connecting Kids Summer Day Camp Program, we believe that children are one of the greatest gifts of life and believe that each child is special.
Our summer day camp provides an action packed, fun-filled summer for your camper with a wide variety of age appropriate activities, experiences and field trips for children entering K-9th grades.
We run five days a week for 10 weeks from June 21st - August 27th. Ask about special hours and rates for students attending summer school at ABC schools. Registration is by the week so you can choose to attend the whole summer or for just certain weeks. Our regular hours are 9:00 am-4:00 pm with extended care available from 7-9 am and 4-6 pm. We attend field trips or have special events every Tuesday and Thursday and Friday. Monday and Wednesday activities include The Zone, Exploration & Experiment and Crafts. In Matthew 19, Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Just as Jesus wanted to be surrounded by children, so do we. We love kids and find no greater joy than making a difference in the life of a child.
CIT (Counselor in Training) Program
Our Counselor in Training (CIT) program provides young people with a leadership experience designed to prepare them to be future camp counselors and leaders. They will learn valuable leadership and work skills while guiding our younger campers to a summer of adventure and lasting memories. CITs assist Senior Staff members in program fun and supervision of an assigned group of campers ages 6-12. While a CIT is never left alone to supervise a group, the CIT will develop valuable supervisory, teaching, coaching, and real work experience and skills. We recognize that CITs are young people deserving of their own adventure filled, exciting and fun summer. That is why the leadership program will run Monday, Wednesday and Friday. CITs will enjoy our Tuesday and Thursday field trips and special events with our other campers. The program will run from June 22nd – August 28th from 9am until 4pm. Registration is weekly. The weekly fees are $75.00 and a one time $35 registration fee, which will include snacks, field trips, special events and lunch whenever it is supplied.
