Basketball for Adults
If you are 18 years or older and are interested in playing basketball please join us on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month in the Activity Center Gym from 9:30 - 12:00 p.m. For more information please call the Church Office at 562.924.4466.
The Emotionally Healthy Church
The whole church body is invited to join together for this exciting 7-week learning process! A short time of teaching will be followed by livelt small group discussions.
As Peter Scazzero. author of the book we'll be studying, writes, "Emotional health and spiritual maturity are inseparable...Our goal is that you would become a more loving, authentic human being - toward God, others, and yourself..."
The course will take place, May16th-June 27th from 11 a.m. to noon in the Gym located in the Activity Center building.
- Books will be available for $10.00 each.
- The Nursery will be open for children under 3.
- Children's classes will still meet in the Education Center. (See Worsip tab, click on current bulletin, listing of classes is in bulletin)
- Youth will be with Pastor Josh in the Game Room, located above the Worship Center.
Senior Friends
Senior friends is an active group of seniors who regularly meet for potluck meal and entertainment the first Friday of every month in the Fireside Room 6-8pm.

Oil Painting Class
For beginners as well as seasoned artists. Learn or refresh oil painting techniques. Class will begin on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. in B112. This will be an 8 week course. Cost for the class is $40.00. Instructor: Carmen Armiento, SC credentialed. For a list of supplies required for the class or for more information please call Florence Vander Mooren at 562.865.8554.
