If you are a hiker, or if you think you might like to give it a try, this is one of the two groups that may be of interest to you.  

 

Saturday Day Hikes

This group goes on hiking trips on first Saturdays and enjoys potluck/fellowship/bible studies on third Saturday of each month.  Potluck/fellowship/bible study is on the third Saturday of each month.
 
In the Bible Study, they will be viewing a series from Answers in Genesis.  The first DVD will be "Where did God come from?" with featured speaker, Ken Ham, to speak on defending creation in a scientific age.  Speaker will address questions such as:  How can we know there is a God?  Can we see any evidence of God's handiwork today?  Can the Bible be defended by real science?  Does creation really explain the evidence in the present?  This is a combined viewing for the whole family.  Separate discussion may follow. May God draw you closer this week.

Monday Hikes

This group is made up primarily of retired gents who want to get out there in nature on Monday mornings.

As a general rule, this group goes out on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, but there are exceptions.  For more info, contact Dave Carlson at dave.carlson@biola.edu or 562.630.3423.

Basketball Practice

"Share God's love by providing a safe yet competitive environment for children, youth, & adults to play basketball." 


Groups meet in the Activity Center.

Thursdays: Adults meet from 7-9pm. 

1st Saturday of every month: Adults meet from 9:30am-12pm

Badminton

Group meets every Sunday from 2 to 6pm in the Gym in the Activity Center.  This group is associated with NLIF (New Life Indonesian Fellowship).

Ping Pong

Group meets every Sunday in D106 in the Activity Center in the Gym from 1:30 to 4:30pm.  This group is associated with NLIF (New Life Indonesian Fellowship).
