If you’ve been to New Life, you know that we are a multi-generational Church. Though we live in a society that often neglects the elderly, we want to value what Tom Brokaw calls, “The Greatest Generation” and those faithfully following in their footsteps. Because of this, we have many opportunities for senior adults to experience friendship, grow in their faith and serve the community.
Seniors
Life Groups
At New Life we believe that our Life Groups are the best context for developing solid community. In a Life Group you have the opportunity to not only be loved and accepted no matter who you are, but to develop friendships with others who are discovering what it means to follow Jesus! Contact us at lifegroups@nl-cc.org to find a life group.
Senior Friends
Are you looking for some fun on a Friday night? Then check out ‘Senior Friends’ (ages 75+) who meet the 1st Friday of every month from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm inside the Activity Center for dinner together and a program varying from musical guests, hymn sings, and even movies! For more information, contact Rich Cnossen (r.cnossen@verizon.net).
Senior Day Trips
Throughout the year, our senior adult groups will take day trips to museums, plays and other attractions in Southern California. Contact Florence Vander Mooren for more information (zwart.vandermooren@gmail.com).
