5th Sunday Celebration (September 30, 2018)

This past Sunday we welcomed 30 new partners, celebrated 4 baptisms, and said farewell to Pastor Mark and Pastor Rachel as they continue their journey at The Bridge in Chino Hills.

Intercessory, Listening, & Contemplative Prayer

Pastor Juno continues our series by teaching about praying for others, listening, and contemplative prayer.

Saved by Grace… To Serve

This portion of Ephesians reminds us over and over about the ‘us’ and ‘we’ in the church. The church was multi-cultural and having problems as times ‘getting along.’ The church then and the church today is reminded that nothing we do, or say, or did or didn’t did keeps us away from God’s Grace – His Grace is for each and every one of us. Now let’s get over it and remember that we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Most people focus on verses 8/9, “For it is by grace we are saved” and forget verse 10, “Our good works don’t make us right with God.” Verse 10 says it’s because of God we do good works so others will have the opportunity to open their hearts to Jesus.

Scripture: Ephesians 2: 1-10

Easter Week at New Life

You are invited to celebrate Easter and the week leading up to Easter with us at New Life Community Church. There is not a more important moment in history than the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Come celebrate these life changing events with us in our Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday services.

Palm Sunday

On April 9, at 9:30 am in the Worship Center we start Holy Week with our Palm Sunday Service. We invite you to join us as we prepare to enter into Holy Week and begin to set our focus on the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Good Friday

On Good Friday is when we reflect and remember the death of Jesus Christ. Join us on April 14, at 7:00 PM in the Worship Center for an intentional service to think through the sacrificial death of Jesus and how his love and forgiveness impacts the world.

Easter Celebration Service

Our Easter Celebration ends with our Easter Service at 9:30 am in our Worship Center. Special music will help us celebrate the hope that Jesus’ resurrection gives us as he has overcome death and our brokenness. Doors open at 9:00 am.

No matter who you are we invite you to join us for our Easter Celebration this year!

REMEMBERING: People Who Are Homebound

Remember all those who are shut-ins due to age or illness and can no longer be a part of regular worship. Think about those in your circle of influence who are homebound or those listed in the CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR section below. You may wish to give them a call or send a note of encouragement.

Scripture: Psalm 54:4
