What Defines You?

Guest Speaker Dan Van Gorp looks at what it means for the church to be a movement, not a monument.

Scripture: Matthew 28: 18-20

Relevance Matters

Pastor Rachel wraps up our series on Acts explaining how Paul contextualizes the Gospel to his various audiences in Athens by entering their world, and invites us to do the same today.

Scripture: Acts 17:16-34

The Gospel is for Everyone

Pastor Mark describes the 3 main characters in Acts 16 and shows us that no matter who we are, Jesus can meet our needs.

Scripture: Acts 16:11-40

The Gospel Moves Forward

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we were unable to record the last 10-15 minutes of this sermon.

Scripture: Acts 8:26-40

Boldness of Your Story

Lead Pastor Juno Smalley continues our series through the book of Acts – this time looking at how we can become more bold with our Christian faith.

Scripture: Acts 4:13-31 & 5:42

Waiting and Witnessing

Following Easter Sunday, Pastor Mark kicks off our new series on the book of Acts showing how Jesus, following His resurrection, first told his disciples to wait for the power of the Holy Spirit before they go out to witness His good news starting in Jerusalem.

Scripture: Acts 1:1-8

Running from God

Pastor Mark introduces the book of Jonah as we start a new sermon series called, “Running from God.” As we make our way through the story of Jonah, we are to look in the mirror and ask ourselves, “Are we running from God just like Jonah?”

Scripture: Jonah 1:1-3

Disciples Making Disciples

Warren Wiersbe says, “Discipleship (and ministry) is the responsibility of every believer, and not just a small group of paid church staff or a group who have been ‘called’ to go.”  Warren said this 37 years ago and yet many people continue to feel the pastors should do it all. God reminds us that every one of us – from the youngest to the oldest – is a disciple. We are all following someone. If you aren’t following Jesus, then who are you following? Jesus has given the call for each of us be disciple makers. This message is a reminder that we are all disciples making disciples. It’s how God intended the ‘church’ to be.

Scripture: Matthew 28:16-20, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

The Power of Your Story

The “Samaritan woman at the well” story reminds us why we are so drawn to good stories in the first place. From this story, we learn:

  1. We all have a story and it matters
  2. Your story finds its place in God’s bigger story and
  3. Your story needs to be shared.

Your story matters because it’s a part of God’s bigger story of redemption, so let this message encourage you to start living into your story and sharing it… just like the Samaritan woman at the well did!

Scripture: John 4
