New Life Solar Project

The church solar system is progressing.

Total funding has been secured for this project. This in itself took a great amount of time but has been successfully completed.

The following items are being reviewed: the roofs and repairs, electrical feeds to the property, Edison review, engineering for the project, and blueprints from years ago showing electrical grids on the property.

Artesia City Officials are informed of the project. Inventory for the project is A OK, no problems. The contractor (Peak Power) is behind on original projected dates which can be blamed on the weather. This winter there were at least 28 work days (almost 6 weeks) that prevented the contractor from working on this project due to rain. This is understandable as no one works on wet roofs.

More updates will be shared as they become available.

Pray for New Life

No matter what your season of life is, we are all called to be people of prayer. While there are many Bible passages on prayer, here are just a few for you to review before you pray:

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. Romans 8:22

Listed below are ideas for how you can be specifically praying:

The Holy Spirit’s Guidance

  • That we use our gifts, passions and opportunities to build the church and ‘be the church’ to our friends, neighbors, coworkers and family
